Test Results

 

The system will run for a three-month period on the process in PureChem Onyx Pte. Ltd.

The intelligent monitoring and control system for waste chemical treatment, which consists of a smart laboratory system, an integrated transducer and control system, has been developed in Instrumentation and System Laboratory,
Nanyang Technological University. After the laboratory test was completed, the whole system has been installed and tested in Purechem Onyx Pte. Ltd. The initial results show the system can replace the present tedious off-site laboratory analysis and manual operation for hazardous waste treatment process, improve product quality greatly, increase productivity, and save manpower in operation. The system developed offers an exciting potential for commercialization, and the project has established a solid basis upon which future work, using probably the best technologically equipments and instruments, can be performed on optimization and control, and management in waste chemical treatment.
