The mission of the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) is to provide university teaching and research in Materials Science and Engineering, and to make professional contributions to industry and the community in Singapore.

Division of Materials Science
The Materials Science Division focuses on more materials science related courses (and research) that form the core of the Materials Science and Engineering Program. Examples include Metals and Ceramics Processing, Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Surface Technologies, Magnetic Materials, and Corrosion technologies.
