Objectives: Calling for Invited Sessions for the following events:

• IEEE International Conference on Cybernetics and Intelligent Systems (CIS 2006)
• IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation and Mechatronics (RAM 2006)

The conference will feature the invited sessions on specialized topics of interests. The invited sessions are intended to usher in, in-depth discussions in special areas relevant to the conference theme.

Invited Session: To organize an invited session, please do the following steps:

• Identify a special topic (in the field of your expertise) that is within the topics of interest for CIS-RAM 2006, and give a title to your intended invited session. Then, send the information to the Invited Sessions Chair, Dr Guilin Yang with your name, title and affiliation as soon as possible.
• Upon approval, you may begin to write to researchers who you think are able to submit good papers consistent with your special area of the Invited Session.
• Submit a summary of the Invited Sessions to the Invited Sessions Chair, Dr Guilin Yang by the deadline as shown below. The summary should include the following:
  • Title of the Invited Session
  • Titles of Papers
  • Names, titles and affiliations of the Authors/Co-authors for each paper

An invited session should ideally have about 5 to 6 papers. Even if you could only get less than this, proceed on as we could help to find a couple more to fit into your invited session. The invited session organizers may be requested to organize the paper review process.

Important Dates:

Deadline for Invited Session Summary Submission	: 1 January 2006
Deadline for uploading all Invited Session Full Papers to websites	: 15 January 2006
Notification of Acceptance	: 1 March 2006
Deadline for uploading Final Camera-Ready Papers	: 1 April 2006
