Why we should remember

A year ago, the world was blitzed with harrowing pictures and dramatic stories of the south-asia tsunami and its victims. Today, we hear little about them, and less with each passing day. For the global spectator the tsunami is a thing of yesteryear; but for its victims, the story has just begun. Some have found or are trying to find a new lease of life, while others— homeless, broken-hearted, or unemployed, staying alive is an up-hill task.
