During the day, the girls learn about Arabic syntax, morphology, semantics, theology, jurisprudence, tafsir (interpretation of the Quran), usul iqh (methodology of Islamic jurisprudence) and hadiths (study of Prophet Muhammad's sayings and actions). They also take turns to recite the Quran.
