After the girls' mother just passed away, Mrs. Gunalakshumi paid great attention to the girls, hugging and comforting them whenever she saw that they were sad. Now the girls are moving on and Diluxsha even feels that, "Ah ma ma (grandmother) looks after us better than Ah ma (mother) did."
