Advertisement for Applications for Research Fellow Position
The RSIS Centre for Non-Traditional Security (NTS) Studies is seeking a suitable person for the position of Research Fellow.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to the Centre's research agenda. He or she will play an important role in formulating and implementing research projects; managing and producing research outputs for the Centre's publications, conceptualising and organising conferences, workshops and other outreach events. The successful candidate will also be asked to carry out other work related to the Centre's outreach and research agendas.
Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant field and strong English academic writing skills. He or she should be an effective speaker comfortable presenting to a diverse range of audiences, and have demonstrable experience and/or expertise in the field of non-traditional security, preferably in the field of energy security and climate change. Experience and/or expertise geared towards the East and Southeast Asian regions are preferred. A willingness to work in a structured team environment with ambitious output commitments and firm deadlines is a must.
