Maxim Shrestha
Maxim Shrestha is Associate Research Fellow with the Centre for Non-Traditional Security (NTS) Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Maxim holds an MSc in International Political Economy from RSIS, and a BA in History from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining the Centre, Maxim worked as a journalist for a regional current affairs magazine, covering various social, political and economic issues from around Asia. Following this, he worked in the field of academic publishing with John Wiley & Sons, where he produced and edited academic social sciences and humanities research books.
His research interests are primarily in political economy of agriculture, food security, as well as issues surrounding the environment and Human Security.
