For the first time, IEEE Region 10 has decided to organize an annual theme colloquium in the Asia-Pacific region to bring together eminent researchers, engineers, academicians and students from around the region to exchange their experience and latest findings in broadband access technologies. Singapore is chosen to be the first venue to drive the initiative around the Asia Pacific region. The theme of this year’s colloquium is Broadband Access - Technology and Market.

The program consists of two keynote addresses by internationally renowned experts in this area and a number of invited speakers. They will speak on various topics relating to emerging broadband access technologies, international standards and broadband markets within the Asia Pacific region.

Based on the excellent track records of past IEEE conferences and the global reputation of IEEE, we expect that this event will be attended by hundred or more participants from industry and the academic community.
