  1. Selection Criteria
  2. The main evaluation criteria will include originality, clarity, and potential impact on practical applications or theoretical foundations. Only papers selected for oral presentation will be considered for any award. Authors can only submit their papers for consideration for either young investigator award or outstanding paper award.

  3. Submission
  4. The papers submitted for competition have to be sent through the regular Congress submission system. When submitting papers to the Congress, candidates have to confirm that they want to participate in the competition. The Congress organisers shall provide appropriate application in the paper submission form.

  5. Awards Committee
  6. The Awards Committee will consist of distinguished researchers and members of the Program Committee of the Congress.

  7. Conflict of Interest
  8. Members of the Awards Committee are not allowed to be authors or co-authors of the competitors.

  9. Selection Process
  10. The Awards Committee shall make an initial selection of papers based on the regular Congress paper review procedure. Further selection shall be made on additional reviews of the papers of the finalists. Final decision shall include evaluation of the oral presentation sessions at the congress.

  11. Finalists
  12. The names of the finalists shall be announced on the Congress website at least one month before the beginning of the congress.
