ITIS–NUSS Tournament 2005
The 30th of September capped a successful 2005 for the NTU Staff soccer team. On this night NTU overwhelmed perennial rivals NUSS 5 – 0 in the final of the ITIS-NUSS tournament. NTU retained the title we had won two years before. This year’s tournament saw NTU defeat all opponents without conceding a single goal. Surely a feat never recorded in the history of this tournament and one that will take a long time to beat as well! This success came hot on the heels of a second placing in the ITIS-NUSS 7-a-Side Soccer Tournament. An under strength NTU side lost the final in a penalty shoot-out to Temasek Poly.
