The College of Science, comprising the School of Biological Sciences and the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, including Chemistry, is a place where research informs teaching, and you can pursue degrees from the Bachelor of Science (Honours) to the Doctor of Philosophy by research.

School of Biological Sciences

Unravel the mysteries of life through science. At the School of Biological Sciences, you will acquire a strong foundation in biological sciences – including chemical, molecular, cellular, structural and computational biology, as well as genetics and genomics – and gain exposure to cutting-edge technology and facilities.

The school’s international faculty and its strong theoretical and practical curriculum will equip you for challenging careers in neurobiology, immunology, stem cell biology and drug discovery and development.

School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences

Honours graduates learn more and earn more! The School is the only institution that offers three- to four-year direct honours programmes in Chemistry & Biological Chemistry, Physics & Applied Physics, Mathematical Sciences, and combined Economics with Mathematics in Singapore. You will be equipped and well prepared for exciting careers and leadership in all echelons of industry and society, by our highly qualified, international faculty members.

At the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences you will receive a thorough understanding of the principles and applications of your chosen subject, as well as a rigorous training in the experimental techniques in our new state-of-the-art laboratories.
