The goals of NTRC are : 

• Undertake projects in high-speed networking (Information Superhighway and Global Networks). 
• Assist local industry to deploy network technology to gain competitive edge in business. 
• Collaborate with industry partners and other Research Centres in research, design and development activities. 
• Set up test sites for new and emerging network and communication technologies for research and industrial implementation purposes. 
• Provide professional development, high-tech training and consultancy services to industry
