Biography

Dr. Shen Zhiqi obtained BSc in Peking Univ., MEng in Beijing Univ. of Technology, and PhD in Nan. Tech. Univ. respectively. From Sep. 1989 to Feb. 1993, he worked as Systems Analyst/Technical Manager at Beijing Stone Computer Systems Co. in China. From Mar. 1993 to Apr. 1994, he worked as Software Engineer in Siemens (Pte) Ltd in Singapore. From May 1994 to May 1996, he worked as Oracle Database Consultant in Strategic Information Systems Pte. Ltd. (SIS). From Jun. 1996 to Nov. 2000, he worked as Senior Research Engineer at I2R (Institute for InfoComm Research). From Dec. 1999 to Jan. 2003, he worked as Senior Engineer at Mobile Data Solutions, Inc. (MDSI) in Canada. From Apr. 2004 to Aug. 2004, he worked as Technical Consultant at System Access Pte Ltd in Singapore. From Aug. 2004 to Aug. 2005, Dr. Shen worked as Research Fellow at MC3 (Managed Computing Competency Center) of NTU. From Sep. 2005 to Feb. 2007, he worked as Research Fellow at Information Communication Institute of Singapore (ICIS) of School of EEE at NTU; from Mar. 2007 to Dec. 2011, he worked as Teaching Fellow in the same school. From Dec. 2011 to Apr. 2016, Dr. Shen worked as Senior Research Scientist in School of Computer Science and Engineering, NTU.

Research Interest

His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Software agent, Multi-agent system (MAS), Intelligent Computing, Interactive Storytelling, Data and Knowledge Management, Trust, Internet/Web technology, and their Applications in Web services, Grid computing, e-Learning, e-Commerce, 3D Virtual world, Games and Crowdsourcing.
