Machine Vision for Robot Guidance
The research directions of the Centre remains focussed towards intelligent robotic systems in specialised application.

Under this classification, there are two distinct areas. The first being industrially related robotic applications and the other being highly specialised robots for medical and hazadous applications. A secondary aspect is to acquire and develop its technological expertise in the areas of robotics. Ivestigation into relevant technology in the areas of machine vision, sensors, actuators and cyberneticstechnology continues at a vigorous pace.
