Research Opportunities

Research Fellow, Research Associate, Project Officer and a number of research scholarships leading to PhD degree are now available for research and development in the fields of intelligent agents, cognitive modeling, media analysis, and machine learning. The awarded candidates will have the opportunity to be involved in NRF-MDA & NRF-MOE IDM funded projects in developing cognitive agents for Co-Space environment.

Applicants for the scholarship should satisfy the following requirement.

• A good bachelor/master/PhD degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Skilled in programming and experienced in developing application prototypes.
• Research interest and experience in virtual environment, intelligent agents, cognitive modeling, media analysis, and machine learning (Research experiences in AI, CI, game theory, Bayesian learning, NLP will be an advantage).

For PhD scholarships, each scholarship will be awarded for a period of four years, subject to evaluation and renewal annually. The PhD candidature is subject to confirmation within two year after the award of the scholarship.
