The NTU Staff Branch of ESU was formed in 1st April 2006 which represents the non-academic staff
from the various schools and departments of NTU & NIE for all union members.
It seeks to protect the rights of non-academic staff in NTU/NIE whoare union members and liase with
the management staff in Office of Human Resource in collective bargaining on wages and terms and conditions
of employment. Thus, in a way seek to give a better life for the members and their families.
It has a shared vision to promote a good union-management cooperation, with an effort to improve communication,
providing more opportunities for union and management to meet at al levels, and to better understand each
other's perspectives.
It also provides handling grievances for individual as well as a group for its members.
