Public Service 11-a-Side Football Tournament 2005
Earlier in the year NTU Staff battled to a fourth placing in the Public Service 11-a-Side Football Tournament 2005. NTU lost in the semi final to the [much younger and fitter] eventual winners from the Police Academy. The fourth place achieved, though, is the highest placing ever by an NTU team in this competition. The team was capably managed by Mohd Azman, who really is the heart of the team, and captained by Francesco Cavallaro. The team was made up of staff from all parts of NTU and the players demonstrated a collaborative and fighting character in the true Nanyang spirit.
