Master of Science Technopreneurship and Innovation program (M.Sc. TIP)
First of its kind in Asia Pacific
M.Sc. TIP conducted by NTU is a one year full-time program. The programme is designed to provide each participant with a holistic entrepreneurship learning experience.
It is a transformational educational journey supported by experiential learning of the vital components of an entrepreneurship ecosystem, which involves interaction with entrepreneurs, mentors, innovators, intellectual property attorneys, venture capitalists, private investors, business leaders and relevant government agencies that lead them through an entire process of discovery and learning. The programme is a rigorous entrepreneurship education involving “real-life” study and experiences that takes students through the entire venture creation cycle.
MSc TIP is designed to stimulate entrepreneurial-minded students’ existing creative drive and provide them with the knowledge and experience they will need to launch new products or businesses in today’s competitive marketplace. It prepares the students for entrepreneurial actions by developing their managerial and technical business skills, their base of corporate contacts, and the experience and confidence that will enable them to succeed in their endeavors.
Through a unique pedagogy designed with a potential entrepreneur in mind, it provides each candidate a wholesome learning experience through a combination of seminar workshops, case analysis, role-playing, active interaction, team-based learning, share-learn-teach approaches and experiential learning processes. What’s more, besides classes at NTU, this program brings candidates to different countries such as US, UK, China and/or Malaysia on overseas study missions.
This revolutionary programme is offered in two separate tracks, namely the Master of Science in Technopreneurship & Innovation (in English) and the Master of Science in Technopreneurship & Innovation (in Chinese).
