Workshop on Non-Volatile Magnetic Memory and Logic Devices, 1st August 2013

This workshop is the first of a series of workshop that will be organized as part of the programme on “Magnetic logic and memory integrated circuit devices”. The aim of this workshop is to gather researchers working in this area to discuss recent findings, theories and practical applications as regards to spintronics materials and devices.

9.45am - Arrival! Invited researcher

10.00am - Opening Ceremony

Welcome speech & briefing by the host, Asst. Prof. Lew Wen Siang

10.15am - Start of presentation

Assoc. Prof. Mansoor (NUS) has initiated the workshop with his research on "Topological Hall Effect in Vortex and Skyrmion Spin Textures"

1.00pm - Lunch break

2.00pm - Presentation (cont.)

Mr. Indra Purnama has shared his research on “Coupled Domain Wall Systems” after the lunch break

It was a successful & informative sharing session, there are total of 9 interest & detailed research topic shared within the 5 hours long workshop, which showed below

The workshop ended at 3.30pm of the same day after a short disccussion among the Principal Investigator of each research group.

With the precious experiences & encouragement from each research group, we hope to organize a series of sharing workshop every 6months in the future!
