Interests

My interest has always been in evolutionary techniques and its applications to optimization problems. Antenna design and measurement techniques for various applications have been my work for the past 8 years. The design of electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI) problems; the design of array antennas; the design of wideband antennas for RADAR or communications applications; and the study of MIMO antenna design based on space diversity and power level are areas in antenna design that is either on-going or been done. I have also been involved in work on RADAR system design and cell planning for mobile telecommunications.

Projects

Most of my projects at the moment are in Channel Characterization. Trees, Rain, Ducting, Sea are some of the different propagation effects we are looking at. Currently, we are also looking at antennas’ out-of-band performance!
