NTU BIRC Workshop on Protein Structure and Function will
highlight recent advances in the field of protein
bioinformatics. Proteins are the functional entities of
biological systems
and most biological activities
are results of protein-protein interactions. Proteins’
function and interaction are
mostly determined by their
3-dimensional structure. There have been recent advances
in both experimental and computational techniques to
find protein structure and function. This has made
significant contributions to both
understanding biological phenomena and discovery of
novel drugs. This workshop will consist of a series of
talks on recent advances in the prediction of
protein structure and function by prominent experts in
Singapore.
