Important Dates
Please take note that each FYP spans
2 semesters and the vacation break in between. Under normal circumstances,
students cannot request for extension of FYP beyond 2 semesters. You are
expected to work full time on the FYP during the vacation, especially when the
progress of your FYP is deemed to be slow or unsatisfactory.
For students starting FYPs in
August, you are advised (though not mandatory) to start working on your FYP
right from July since the December break between the 2 semesters is very
short. This could be an important factor of your FYP grade, or even a
pass or fail situation for some. Students are strongly encouraged to contact
their FYP supervisors for background information on the FYP for an early
start.
