CONFERENCE TOPICS

Day 1 of conference (November 23rd, Friday) will focus on Library and Information Education
and Practice (in English):
- LIS Education Trends and Curriculum,
- Accreditation and Collaboration,
- Digital Learning and Knowledge Industry, and
- Regional Cooperation.

Day 2 of conference (November 24th Saturday) will address issues in Information and
Communication Studies (in Chinese):
- Media Convergence in Information Age,
- Digital Content and Archives Education Program Design and Evaluation, and
- The Cooperative Development on Information and Communication Research and Practice.

A visit to the National Library and Taipei City Library is being planned for overseas participants
for Day 2 of the conference.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Registration is FREE for INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS who are librarians, or library school faculty provided registration is done by October 15, 2007.

Participants have to cover their own travel, accommodation and living expenses.
