Celia Chua is Associate Research Fellow with the Centre for Non-Traditional Security (NTS) Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

She holds an MSc in Environmental Management from the National University of Singapore (2012). She also has a BEng in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (2007).

Her research interests encompass application of life cycle assessment and system dynamics methodologies to different environment-related issues and problems. She focuses on food security issues, including food availability, biofuels, and environmental issues such as climate change and food waste. Prior to working at the Centre, she worked in academia, both in Singapore and Austria.
