Students’ union and other student organisations
With more than a hundred student organizations catering to the diverse interests and pursuits of students, NTU students are poised for a vibrant campus life. The Students’ Union counts all full-time undergraduates as its members and is thus representative of the student body. Besides the Union, there are 13 School-specific academic constituent clubs, three non-academic constituent clubs, namely the Welfare Services Club, Sports Club and the Cultural Activities Club, 71 student societies, and 16 Junior Common Room Committees at the Halls of Residence.
Notable events on our calendar include:
- Students' Union: International Culture and Travel Fair, Union Welcome Week
- Welfare Services Club: Camp Outreach (a camp for the hearing impaired youth), Challenge Your Limit \
- Cultural Activities Club: Impresario (a nationwide talent search competition), Arts from the Heart
- Sports Club: the Vertical Marathon (Singapore's version of the Empire State Building Run-up), Surf and Sweat
