for them...read more below!

There
are Self-Service Automated Machines at North
Spine & South Spine. Post boxes are located at
North Spine, Level 1, South Spine, Hall 8, and at 199 bus-stop

The
unisex Hairdresser is next to the Nanyang Supermarket (behind Canteen 2). Prices are very
reasonable.
ATM
& Self-Service Automated Machines
OCBC Bank (1800-438-333) is the only bank to have a branch on campus, North Spine Level 1.
ATMs from Citibank, OCBC, POSB, UOB are dotted all around the campus.
Self-Service Automated Machines: AXS and SAM at Block N2.1 and at South Spine Level B3 near Canteen B
There are other large banks with branches in Jurong West and many parts of the city. HSBC, DBS, POSB, UOB, etc. Rates vary, so it pays to shop around a little, since ATM terminals and online banking make a visit to the bank infrequent.
Need some new
gadgets for that computer? The Eight Flags Computer Shop (6793 5911) is situated next to Canteen B, one level below the medical centre. They tend to
have special prices for students and staff at the beginning of the first
semester in each year for various models.
There is a bookstore/stationery store on
Campus (South Spine, Blk S4, #B5A-01, same level as car park Q) it
sells textbooks, narrow range of books of leisure catering to students (think
cartoons and romance novels) and a wide selection of stationary, wider than Nanyang supermarket.
Running out of
milk? There are so many options: Nanyang Supermarkets (6791 6126) divided into two small stores behind
Canteen 2, sell everything from buckets and mops to dry goods, fresh cut fruit
and dairy products, stationary and personal hygiene products at reasonable
prices. Open 9-9 Monday through Friday,
closes at
“The Grocer by Sterling” this
is relatively new 24 hours grocery store at Level 1 NEC, comes in handy as it
is located right beside the residential quarters.
“7-Eleven” at north Spine, Level 1, open from Mon-Fri (7AM – 9PM),

NTU and NIE schools and departments offer various educational
services and courses and degrees. For independent study, some courses of
the NTU Continuing
Education Centre should be noted.
If you are looking for a tutor for your child, there are lots of university students who are
willing to tutor for reasonable prices. You can either approach
them personally at their student housing, through staff at NIE who train
teachers-to-be or by contacting student associations.
