Continuing Education for Engineers (BEng Level Courses)

Introduction
The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering presently offers many courses under its BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) Programme.  These courses are now offered for continuing education of engineering professionals in the industry through our centre. These courses serve to equip and update you with specific knowledge for your current or future work.

This new scheme represents our continuous commitment to service the industry, and we look forward to your participation.  There is no examination for participants taking the course(s).  In addition, each participant will be awarded a certificate of participation if he/she attains at least 75% of attendance.

Who Should Attend
Engineers, researchers, managers, designers, and engineering consultants.

Professional Development Units
The majority of the courses here are accredited by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore as Structured Activities defined under its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program. As such, professional engineers can earn Professional Development Units (PDU) when they attend these courses. The number of PDUs that can be earned with each course or module is indicated beside the respective course title/description.

Pre-requisites
Engineering and science diploma holders or equivalent qualifications, with at least 2 years relevant working experience.

Time & Duration
1. Classes will be conducted 2 or 3 hours every week.
2. All courses are offered in semester 1 & 2
3. Timetable and venue will be posted to you.
4. If you choose two courses and the two are taught on the same day, you can either withdraw from one of them (full refund), or nominate a replacement.
5. If you cannot attend the course you have registered, you can either (a) choose another course or (b) you can nominate a replacement.  In (a), however, notes cannot be guaranteed on short notice.

1. Fee for each course is inclusive of GST.
2. Kindly complete the registration form to register.
