The Innovations in Teaching Seminar (IITS) 2017, an event co-organised by the Centre for IT Services (CITS) and the Teaching, Learning and Pedagogy Division (TLPD), aims to provide a platform for faculty and staff to exchange ideas and experiences on how they can help prepare students for challenges of the 21st century.

The theme of this year's seminar focuses on how learning and knowledge creation can be shaped by technology and encourage awareness amongst participants on the choice of technological tools to achieve desired learning outcomes. In addition, the presentations will discuss the pedagogical purposes of technological interventions.

Our keynote speaker, Professor Mike Keppell, will share on how to ensure best practice in learning and teaching for institutions, teachers and learners, and faculty speakers will share their teaching practices, in the context of an increasingly connected world.

The seminar is supported by the John Cheung Endowment Fund.
