Abstract
This project aims at modelling and characterizing semiconductor devices
using TCAD tools. The objective is to analyze a single device in
terms of process and physics related parameters, characterize its electrical
performance, and provide a model for the design and optimization of such
devices for MMIC applications. The simulated I-V data can be used
to compare with experimental data, and to extract parameters for circuit
simulation. Through the project, the students will gain fundamental
knowledge in modern microwave device design using state-of-the-art simulation
tools.
