This project aims at modelling microwave semiconductor devices at the circuit level and extracting parameters for the model from measured or simulated device I-V characteristics.  The objective is to implement a circuit model in a SPICE-like simulator, and to develop a protocol for extracting necessary parameters for that model.  The developed model can then be used to predict the performance of MMICs.  Through the project, the students will gain invaluable experience in circuit modelling and simulation, especially in the field of MMICs.
