Abstract
The trend towards mixed analog–digital circuits on a single chip is increasing. Accompanied with this trend is the need for a single-engine simulator that can handle the two distinctly different algorithms in a unified data structure.
In this project, the students are expected to develop libraries for
use in such a mixed-mode simulator. The developed models for the
digital elements can be effectively used in the simulator for simulating
mixed analog–digital circuits with automatic mode switching. The
experience gained through the project will prove to be valuable in this
ever-increasing important field.
