Research Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant Openings

School of Computer Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, has openings for Research Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant for funded projects on distributed computing and submodular optimization. The project on distributed computing focuses on resource allocation and job scheduling for cloud computing and data-intensive applications. The project on submodular optimization focuses on the design and analysis of algorithms for various submodular optimization problems.

Competencies and Qualification Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or related disciplines from a reputable university;
• Good knowledge in parallel and distributed computing, algorithm design and analysis, or submodular optimization;
• Relevant research experience with proven records;
• Ability to conduct research independently;
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

Candidates are expected to conduct high-quality research on theoretical problems, algorithm design and analysis, and performance evaluation.

Positions are open at levels of Research Fellow (for candidates holding PhD), Research Associate (for candidates holding Master) and Research Assistant (for candidates holding Bachelor). Salary will be commensurate with experiences and proven records.
