Chan Syin received the B. Eng. degree (First Class Honours) in
Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1987,
and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kent, United Kingdom in
1993. She is an associate professor in the School of Computer Engineering,
Nanyang Technological University. Her research interests include mobile
healthcare and multimedia information systems.
