Monica Seles used to be Steffi Graf's biggest rival. She was at her very best before she was stabbed by a deranged Graf fan some years back. Guess that was the toughest period for her. She was physically and mentally affected by the stab. After a period of rest, she tried to made a comeback but I guess that wasn't very successful then. But now, she is at No. 4 spot and I can see that she has made an amazing comeback over the years. It's good to see her back again. Her trademark is her grunt when she hits the tennis back each time. There is a year that her opponent complained that her grunt is disturbing her concentration on the tennis court. From then on, she doesn't grunt that loud anymore. There are some people who say that she cannot perform that well without her grunt. I guess we can all see from her performance. Guess that grunt of hers doesn't matter anymore. She is still performing so well even without her trademark grunt.
