Pete Sampras becomes the youngest player to win the US Open. Even though he has won five Wimbledon titles, he is still motivated to win the title this time round. Sampras says "Wimbledon is the biggest thing in the world. It is our Superbowl. If you can't get motivated to play this event, you have to look to do something else. This is it for me." Besides the Wimbledon titles, he has also won four US Open crowns and two Australian titles. He is the favourite to win the Wimbledon this year.
