Jia Wei has been an assistant professor with the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore since July of 2013 and the Associate Chair (Students) since November of 2017. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to that, she received both her B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from the National University of Singapore. Her current research interests are in membrane process technology, multi-phase flow and fluid mechanics. Her research has been recognized by various awards including the AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) Best Ph.D. Dissertation Award in 2013, the Singapore Youth Award in 2015 and the AIChE Sabic Young Professional Award in 2017.
