Dear Students,

We've officially hit November; can you believe it's been three months since the semester began? Over the last few months, were you one of the many students who joined us at numerous career activities organised by Career & Attachment Office (CAO) since the new academic year commenced? Before you gear up for revisions and exams soon, here’s a recap on some of the events that even if you might have missed this semester, you can keep a close lookout for more next semester too!

Exploring Career Opportunities with Recruitment Talks, Roadshows, and Company Visits

Various companies have visited our campus to share more about their organisation as well as available job roles in diverse formats. These sessions vary from informative recruitment talks to interactive roadshows that offered engaging activities and sometimes even exciting giveaways. Some students even took a step further by attending company visits – where they experienced the workplace environment firsthand, immersing themselves in the “real” working world.

Participating in such events play an important role in shaping your future career, as they help you gain more clarity and direction. It offers invaluable opportunities for networking with potential employers and industry experts. From their sharing, you can gain a deeper insight into the current trends and job opportunities, enabling you to make more informed career decisions. Most importantly, attending these events are the closest chance to learn directly from industry professionals and witness the working environment firsthand, which helps you put what you have learnt in the classroom in the real-world perspective.
