MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
(STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS AND PAYLOAD)

Key Job Accountabilities:

· To generate mechanical and system designs that are required for the project

· To ensure modification designs are compliant with requirement from relevant aviation authorities

· To perform simple analysis to substantiate designs

· To interact closely with engineers from other disciplines to achieve an optimized design within the stipulated project schedule

· To deliver presentations to the customers and aviation authorities on modification designs as required

· To support aircraft prototyping and production activities

· To support technical publication activities

Required Experience and Qualifications:

· Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

· Experience with CAD software. Knowledge of CATIA, for 3D modeling and 2D drawings will be an added advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Words/ Excel/ Power point

· Practical experience in supporting airframe modification projects will be added advantage

· Experience on composite structures will be an added advantage

· Good written and oral communication skills in English

· Must be a self-motivated team player who is able to work independently
