SYSTEM DESIGNER (WIG)

Key Job Accountabilities:

· To generate 3D designs, engineering drawings required for WIG craft for the associated systems:

· Propulsion System

· Flight Control (Mechanical)

· Air conditioning

· Hydraulics

· Fuel System

· To ensure designs meet customer and IMO certification requirements

· To interact closely with engineers from other disciplines to achieve an optimized design within the stipulated project schedule

· To support prototyping and production activities

· To generate engineering documents to support certification, prototyping and production effort

· To support production of technical publications through life-cycle of products

· To liaise with external vendors to establish requirements and ensure timely delivery of kits/support/documents

Required Experience and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

· Knowledge of CATIA and PTC Windchill, for 3D modeling and 2D drawings required. Experience with similar CAD software will be considered

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/ Excel/ Power Point)

· Innovative and enjoys solving problems

· Independent and resourceful worker

· Must be a self-motivated team player

· Experience with marine classification programs will be an advantage
