MANUFACTURING ENGINEER


JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be working as part of an expert multiskilled team which perform Wing-In-Ground (WIG) craft research, design & analysis and optimization. You will be responsible for the quality assurance and vendor management on composite manufacturing and metal machining.

We are a dynamic multifunctional engineering team that develop design solutions for Wing-In-Ground (WIG) platforms from concept definition stage through design, analysis, system integration, prototyping and flight testing. We enjoy working with aspects of both the marine and aerospace industries and the challenge of developing design solutions that re-define maritime transportation for the benefit of our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Quality assurance on composite and metal manufacturing process, in-process quality assurance and inspection, parts assembly processes and acceptance.

2.     Ensure quality standard and good engineering practices of composite and metal manufacturing.

3.     Establish manufacturing requirement and standards for composite and metal manufacturing of composite and metal parts and assembly.

4.     Work with vendors to ensure manufacturing processes and inspection are compliance with requirement from Class Society.

5.     Assist the management in developing, reviewing, improving and implementing quality manufacturing standards.

6.     Help to resolve manufacturing and engineering issues during manufacturing.

7.     Manage vendors on the timely manufacturing and delivery of quality composite and metal parts.

8.     Review, manage and consolidate production documents.

9.     Attend meetings and other duties as delegated by the management.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Education: Bachelor, or higher, in Engineering (mechanical, aerospace, aeronautical or marine) or

·       Experience: Shall possess at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experiences, especially in composite manufacturing.
