What Should

You Do?

·        Virtual portal is already open and remains available until 21 May 2023

·        Setup your profile by 15 May before employers start logging in

·        Login via https://vgradrecruit.ntu.edu.sg/

How is the event different from Career Fair 2023?

1)      It is a week-long fully virtual event.

2)      This time, students will be getting the limelight through School categorisation at the virtual Exhibition Hall!

3)      Employers will be able to search for you under your School – to view and shortlist you for suitable positions. They will also be able to search through various student-centric filters such as your course of study or preferred industry sectors, companies, and job functions. So, by setting up a full profile will help increase your odds at appearing in various employers’ searches for suitable candidates!

4)      Employers can “tag” a student and “save” for review later.

5)      Students will receive a notification if any employer is keen to reach out for further chats or interviews offline (not through the platform).

6)      Students will also be able to see the list of participating companies and apply to the various available job opportunities within the platform.

Steps to ensure you get the best out of this event!

Pre-event

1)       Start creating your profile under ‘My Account’ early so that you are prepared before the event starts on 15 May! Don’t wait till the last minute!

2)       Prepare your resume now and get all ready when the portal is open for uploading!

3)       If you require guidance on utilising the virtual platform, please click access the Students’ Guide via http://www3.ntu.edu.sg/cao3/GradRecruit/StudentGuide.pdf

During the event

1)     If you receive a notification from an employer, please respond to him/her promptly. Do not ignore the notification or wait for a few days to respond – avoid losing a valuable job opportunity to others!

2)     It is very important to beef up your resume and create a good profile. The better the profile, the better your chances of getting noticed and invited for interview!

3)     Keep an open mind to various kinds of employers and jobs, especially when employers reach out to you. Don’t rush to reject, take some time to chat with employer and understand more about the nature of the job.

4)     Besides waiting for employers to reach out to you, you can also leave a message to employers whom you are keen to chat with.
