9,400 new jobs will be created in the banking and fintech sector this year,
with a third for technology jobs! This means that there will also be
opportunities aplenty for students from both tech and non-tech background to
also join this exciting sector.
What are some opportunities open to our students in this sector? Goldman Sachs is
looking for interns to support their sales, trading and structuring teams in
Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea for 3 to 6 months.
Penultimate or final year students, as well as fresh grads with finance,
economics and STEM background are welcome to apply. GIC will be having
their 8-month structured rotational programme designed to jumpstart students’
career in the world of investments and the opportunities to contribute to
Singapore’s financial future and the global communities we invest in. This
