Highlights of the
week:
For more career
opportunities from various industries, please access Career Axis. Dear Students, How time flies as we are drawing to the
end of 2022! No matter the experiences or encounters, let’s take a moment to
appreciate and be thankful for the learning journeys and anticipate what the
future has in store for us in 2023 with fresh hopes and dreams. ·
Graduating Students For students who are graduating in year
2023, you have made it thus far! Kudos for all the conscientious efforts and
braving through the many ups and downs as an undergraduate. To assist in your
preparations and heighten your job search all while focusing on your FYP
and/or revision ahead for your final exam in May 2023, let us ‘JobWatch’
together! As your Career Consultant to Consumer Business & eCommerce,
Media & Marketing, and ICT sectors, I would like to accompany
your job search through this value-added initiative. Are you actively looking for jobs? JobWatch seeks to help the
graduating students, by alerting/recommending potential fresh graduate job
openings that are curated by me while engaging employers within the sectors
under my care. To participate in ‘JobWatch’, you may simply register via
the following links based on the function roles under the industries of your
interest and upload your resume thereafter:
By signing up, your resume will be forwarded
to the employer(s) for their review should your interest and available
openings from employers are matched. Employers will review and contact you
directly should you be shortlisted for an interview. What does this mean for you? ‘JobWatch’ provides an initial lead-in
opportunity for your resume to be reviewed by the employer. Yet, the outcome
of whether you clinch an interview and/or eventually get hired depends on how
much effort you put into crafting a striking resume, as well as the impression
you leave during the interview. I would be happy to help in your
preparations and we can complete the ‘JobWatch’ process with your sharing of
employer’s offer (i.e., company name, job title, commencement date) for after
actions review. ·
Applicable For All Students Job searching may come in a different
form for the rest of you, and while the hunt may be for internship or other
opportunities to gain more industry experience, fret not. Stay up-to-speed
and check out the jobs’ links and additional resources highlights below and you can take proactive actions too!
