Dear Students,
Earlier this semester,
the 6th edition of NTU’s Banking & Fintech Recruitment Event
was successfully held on 23 August 2022. We were delighted to host 19
esteemed companies from the Banking and Fintech sector, featuring one of the
largest line-ups since this annual event’s inception. Thanks to the support
and enthusiasm from all of you, we welcomed over 1,100 students across all
disciplines that evening – recording one of the highest turnout
for our thematic events!
 
It was a great sight
to see large crowds of sharply dressed students turning up with curious
questions for the companies’ representatives and receiving valuable insights
on the career opportunities. Through that evening’s networking, attendees had
the chance to learn more about the industry and hear about experiences
first-hand from seasoned professionals.
With a clearer
understanding of the sector and roles, students could also apply for jobs
directly. To our delight, we noted that some of you even managed to secure
interview opportunities on the spot. For those who may not have scored an
interview or found a suitable opening during the event, don’t be discouraged
as we have more recruitment activities and opportunities lined up for you!
Attending recruitment and
networking events is an excellent method to find out more about a particular
company, its culture, as well as opportunities. Remain curious, ask questions
and these experiences will allow you to gain more confidence and make
better-informed decisions when applying for interviews or jobs in the future.
