Guidelines for Selection
of Subjects for Exchange Students

Introduction

In NTU, an academic year is divided into two semesters of 16 weeks each with a 10-week vacation following each semester. Practical programmes of In-House Practical Training and Industrial Attachment for Engineering students and Professional Attachment for Accountancy and Business students are conducted in Semester 2. The Professional Internship for Communication Studies is in Semester 1.

Most subjects are conducted on a semestral basis and examinations are held at the end of each semester. Subjects like the Final Year Project and Applied Research Project are taken over two semesters.
