Introduction

Welcome to A*STAR Graduate Scholars Symposium (AGSS) 2006.  This is the second A*STAR Graduate Scholars Symposium organized by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), co-organized by A*STAR Graduate Academy (AGA), and in collaboration with National University of Singapore (NUS).  It will be a one-day event held at Biopolis, Singapore on 11 October 2006 and is promised to be an eye-opener event!

The objective of this symposium is for the A*STAR graduate scholars to share their innovative research works through a series of exciting and vibrant oral and poster presentations.  Attractive prizes will be awarded to the Best Oral Presenter and Best Poster.  In addition, certificates and gifts will be given to all participants for this year symposium.

Beside the excellent presentations by our A*STAR graduate scholars, there will also be speeches by well known keynotes in the research fields.

So, let us come together to participate in A*STAR Graduate Scholars Symposium 2006!  Highlight your accomplishments and contributions in your research works, and together, we will make this symposium a memorable and fruitful event!
