 Congratulations to our NTU bowling team who clinched the overall champion title this year, April 2009 at the

ITIS-NUSS Bowling Games Competition held at Safra.  Their bi-monthly games have paid off.  

We also take this opportunity to thank our Bowling convenor, Ms Lim-Choo Bee Huay for her dedication and leadership".

 

NTU is the overall champion for the following:

Men’s Singles – 1st

Ladies Singles – 2nd

Men’s Doubles – 2nd

Mixed Doubles – 1st

4 men Team – 7th

NTU also came up as 1st runner-up in the ITIS-NUSS Golf Championship, 1st runner-up in soccer and 2nd runner-up in table tennis.

We congratulate our NTU team for their gallant effort and team spirit.  We hope to bring back trophies again in the biennale games.

SRC also organises courses, in everything from aerobics, ballroom dancing and line dancing to yoga, pilates and taiqi. These are all very popular. Watch out for the announcements for new courses via email. And act fast – they usually get over-subscribed within hours of broadcast!

 

NTU participates in external tournaments such as the Inter Tertiary Institute Staff-National University of Singapore Society Games (ITIS-NUSS), which has a competition for just about every sport.  Congratulations to our NTU bowling team who brought back the BOWLING championship trophy in the 2009 Games. 

 

Alas, lately, we have been found lacking in some sporting departments. Still, many thanks to everyone who played – for your wonderful spirit and gallant effort.

 

If you’d like to participate in any SRC game or sport, whether socially or competitively, simply contact the Sports convener of the respective sport/game. We are always looking for talent to bolster the NTU teams!
