  After Graduation

As you contemplate life after SCI, you may begin to think about what you can do with your FYP project that will help you achieve some of your future goals. SCI supports and encourages its students to submit their FYP projects to conferences, video festivals, competitions and journals for publication. In some cases, your supervisor may talk to you about collaborating with him or her. SCI faculty members have a set of guidelines we follow as we develop these collaborations. The link to them is posted below. You are encouraged to read and be familiar with them in order to be informed of your rights and responsibilities.

1 Guidelines for student participation and collaboration in research

Travel Assistance
SCI has allocated money to support student travel and participation in conferences, festivals and competitions. In order to be eligible to receive funding from the school, you need to be familiar with and follow a few guidelines. Please Note: Read the guidelines BEFORE you submit your FYP to a conference, festival or competition. In order to receive funding, there are some things you need to do PRIOR to actually submitting your project for consideration.

Festival and Competition Submissions for EBM Video, Audio and Multimedia Projects
EBM will submit your FYP video, audio or multimedia project to a maximum of five (5) festivals or competitions on your behalf. You may, of course, choose to submit your project to more than that! In order to facilitate the process, there are some things you need to do which will make it easy for the faculty coordinator to send out the submissions during the year. Please carefully review the guidelines as there are things you need to do PRIOR to making the submissions. When you submit your list to use, please use the template provided.
