Allocation and Acknowledgement of General Electives
Students who have not fulfilled their UE requirements may take electives offered by the School or other Schools. To take UE offered by other Schools, students must indicate their prioritized choices of UE during the registration period. Students will be put on the wait-list initially. The elective may be allocated from the students’ choice of courses. Allocations are course to available vacancies. Students will be informed of their choice of UE offered by other Schools on the first day of the Add/Drop period. They are required to acknowledge the UE allocated to them by the deadline set by the Office of Academic Services which is sometime during the Add/Drop period. Otherwise, the allocated course will be removed and re-allocated to another student. For detailed dates, please refer to the Registration Instructions in the OAS website.

Students who have fulfilled their UE requirements will not be able to register more UE during the Registration period. Students who wish to overload on UE will have to complete the Course Approval Form and the appeal is course to the Programme Director's approval. If approval is given, students will register the course during the Add/Drop period, course to vacancies available.
